Why do you need an insurance against cancellation costs for your group?

• With the booking of an accommodation you have exposed yourself to the risk of having to account for several hundred if not thousand Swiss Francs. Your risk as responsible of a group is unequally higher than as an individual or head of your family.
• Your normal insurance against cancellation costs is ineligible and invalid for groups.
  

That is the reason why CONTACT groups.ch together with the European Travel Insurance Company have developed a special insurance against cancellation costs for groups. The following two characteristics distinguish it from other travel insurances:

• For each policy two persons can be entered as "group leader". They are entitled to cancel the trip as a whole.
• The share of costs of each participant is insured.
