Hildegard Hotel ***, 6434 Illgau (SZ)

The Hildegard Hotel*** is a spacious mountain hotel on 1200 m. above sea level inmidst of the most beautiful alpine meadows and with a marvellous panorama in Illgau (canton Schwyz, Switzerland).
Starting directly from the house you can venture on gorgeous hikes, mountain and ski tours as well as excursions to the region. The house was was gently renovated in 2010 and fitted with 29 bright bedrooms and 3 modern seminar rooms. We cook with regional products with the cuisine of herbs of Hildegard von Bingen, under the motto "first good, then healthy". The smell of the freshly baked bread from ancient spelt and spicy mountain herbs lies in the air. Bouquets of wild flowers decorate the rooms, the bedrooms are named "Edelkastanie" (sweet chestnut), "Fenchel" (fennel) or "Amethyst" and are furnished in a varied and tasteful manner. The mountain hotel is located directly at the edge of the forest and the spirit of Hildegard von Bingen breathes with a wonderful view.
