The group accommodation Le Grand Hôtel Chandolin is situated in Chandolin / Val d'Anniviers (Valais), the highest community of Switzerland (2000 m). The house was originally a Grand Hotel (built in 1894), was renovated and opened as a group accommodation in 2001. Within the stylish rooms we can offer you an impressive and relaxing stay. Enjoy an overwhelming panoramic view onto the Matterhorn and the surrounding summits rising to more than 4000 metres. Seminar room (70m2) with TV/DVD/video/internet as well as bar, disco with dart/baby foot and games room. Chapel within 100m for rent. Activities: museum (Ella Maillart), highest public observatory of the Alps, ski, snowboard, ski- and snowshoe tours, hikes (educational trails on botany and on planets), guided mountaineering expeditions, nordic walking, (downhill) mountain bike, climbing, rope garden, paragliding, archery. Bus access only to the village centre.
